The Move and 2011

Well Folks we did it we moved back to Cali and let me tell you that was very long and stressful drive. We left Great Lakes Dec.21 and went to Iron River WI for Christmas with Paul's family and it was very nice to spend some time with them before heading to Ca. We left WI in Jan and made it to Ca by the 6 of Jan. The weather was so nice..... I couldn't believe how nice it was and warm out I have been living in summer like clothes for weeks now. I know that the mid-west got slammed with snow just a few weeks ago and I feel bad but not that bad with how nice the weather is here. We got our new House and we love it ( picture soon).

All of us are doing great. Paul is at his new job and it looks like he got a lot going on there. He most likely will be deploying in Oct. and wont be back until may of 2012 but it comes with the job nothing we cant get through. But right now he is doing a lot of training and will be very busy in the next few months.

Kylie is just loving it out here but misses everyone in the mid west , all the time we hear how she misses her family and friends there. As for her schooling there is no Pre-K class for her so I'm doing as much home teaching as I can and my niece Laura is going to do some of her student teaching with Kylie to help her learn to read. Kylie gets to play out side so much here and I cant keep up with her.

As for me I'm just loving being close to my family again and being in beach weather in FEB!!!! But we miss our Family and friends in the Midwest. I didnt think how hard it would be to move this time but it was hard to leave the small military family we made there. But they all know we love them and miss them so much and are welcome here anytime. Sorry guys but after all the snow you got we arent coming to visit.. LOL.Seeing my Parents has ment a lot to me I have missed them so much and its nice to be here to help them and they can help me ... Love You guys

Around Christmas time my Niece Laura Ann got engaged to long time boyfriend Tyler and I cant be more Happy for them. Kylie Love them both very much so that makes me even more happy to welcome Tyler into our family ( I think Kylie likes him so much because Tyler's family works with animals and most of all Monkeys). Laura is in college and Doing GREAT !!! She is my right hand girl ... Lots of XOXO Laurs

In Jan Jason Moved to MN with her Girl friend Ivy and he seem to be liking it out there. Hopefully hes not freezing his tush off. He been there for about two weeks now and when we went up to my parent last week all Kylie could do was say Jason not here any more right? I think she really misses him. But we talk to him online. Good luck in MN Jason I hope you find the Job and School gets back on track for you. Lots of XOXO J

It seem like everyones moving so much. Tracie is moving to Organ soon. Eric is already up there so Kylie got a special day with him when he came to Ca right around Eric bday. I know Kylie will be up set when Auntie Blankie no longer lives near Grammie and Poppa.. But she will get over it some day...

Cant say Much about my other Niece Cairlen because I haven't see her yet but I do so much miss her and love her.

I don't know what more to say other then The Hakkila Family is back in Cali. and with the Packers winning the Super Bowl our very Big Packer Fans house is very happy in Cali...
